NOVENA PRAYER TO OUR LADY OF GOOD HEALTH VAILANKANNI
O Most Holy Virgin! You were chosen by the Most Adorable Trinity from all eternity to be the most pure Mother of Jesus.
O tender Mother of the afflicted! grant me under my present necccessities a special protection. Relying on the infinite mercies of your Divine Son, and strengthened with confidence in your powerful prayers, I most humbly entreat you to intercede for me. I beg you to obtain for me the favours which I petition for in this Novena, if it be the Holy Will of God to grant them and if not, to ask for me whatever graces I most stand in need of (Here specify your request).
O Mother of God, accept my salutations in union with the respect and veneration with which the angel Gabriel first hailed you "Full of grace" (Recite the following Hail Mary - 9 times)
Haily Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you, Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
I beseech you O comfortress of the afflicted to obtain for me the favours and graces which I have now implored through your powerful intercession. For this end I offer you my good works I do and sufferings I endure. I most humbly entreat you for the love of the amiable heart of Jesus with which yours was ever so inflamed to hear my humble prayers and obtain my requests. Amen.

Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that any one who fled to your protection implored your help and sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto you O Virgins of Virgins, my mother to you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word incarnate, despise not my petition but hear and answer them. Amen.

DAY 1 Saturday 30th August
6.00pm Vigil Pontifical Mass. Novena devotions. Benediction followed by procession and hoisting of the banner of Our Lady of Good Health, Vallankanni. Concluding with a social get together in the hall to welcome Archbishop. Please bring a plate of finger food.
DAY 2 Sunday 31st August
9.00am Pontifical High Mass. Conclude wtih social get together at the Hall to meet the parishioners.
6.00pm Novena devotions and Benediction
DAY 3 Monday 1st September
7.00pm Holy Mass and novena devotions. Blessing of the children, conclude with benediction.
DAY 4 Tuesday 2nd September
7.00pm Holy Mass followed by novena devotions, annointing of the sick, conclude with benediction.
DAY 5 Wednesday 3rd September
7.00pm Holy Mass followed by Novena devotions, and blessing with Monstrance.
DAY 6 Thursday 4th September
7.00pm Holy Mass followed by novena devotions and benediction. After the benediction service the Archbishop will return to the santuary to accept gifts and offerings from the devotees.
DAY 7 Friday 5th September 7.00pm (First Friday of the Month)
6.00pm Exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament Rosary, Litany of the Most Sacred Heart, Divine mercy chaplet. Silent Adoration
7.00pm Holy Mass followed by Novena devotions and benediction
DAY 8 Saturday 6th September 7.00pm
6.00pm Vigil Pontifical Mass, Novena devotions and Benediction. Novena food fete.
DAY 9 Sunday 7th September (Fathers Day)
9.00am Pontifical Mass followed by procession along Burnett Street, right into Mallion Street, right into Ferredy Street, back to the Church and conclude with Benediction.
Holy Trinity Parish will treat all present to a sausage sizzle and cool drinks.
6.00PM Novena devotions and benediction
DAY 10 Monday 8th September
Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
7.00pm Concelebrated Mass followed by candle light procession to the Grotto. Banner of Our Lady of Good Health will be lowered and the ceremony will be concluded with the burning of the petitions.
All present are invited to join in the celebration of Our Heavenly Mother's Birthday and at the same time to thank and farewell Archbishop Charles Bo. Please bring a plate.
