Dear friends and colleges,
A partnership training program for Burmese democracy activists between the Diplomacy Training Program (DTP) and the Burmese Community in Sydney, called Burma Special Intensive Program 2008, has been organised for this year. The program is intended and designed to improve democracy activists and campaigners capacity in their campaigning and lobbying work. Last year, a similar program was successfully organised and more than twenty people completed the course and received their completion certificates from the University of New South Wale (UNSW).
This year program is arranged in two parts, a three-day and a two-day live in, and will be taken place in early September and October (Pls, find attached the application and brochure). The program will take up to thirty people and participants from ACT and VIC states will also be welcome into the program. Due date for the application has been set on 16 August. Please, forward or spread the words to people interested.
