Burma Gateway is a virtual networking platform for all Burmese activities in Australia, binding together enterprise, religious, cultural, music, political, media, health, social and ethnic groups, and migrant and mainstream Australians.
Burma Gateway's mission is to enable online collaboration between all stakeholders with interests in Burma, in order to be instrumental in harnessing, promoting and enhancing common causes and issues.
OUR OBJECTIVES
- Encourage community collaboration and partnership.
- Inform on Australia-Burma issues, events and activities within Australia.
- Network mainstream Australians and Burmese-Australians, for mobilisation around specific activities relating to Burma.
- Empower organisations to contribute timely, relevant information and resources to the global community.

Help desk
Burma Gateway needs a computer literate person to help our network members upload and layout content. Our easy-to-use Content Management System means you don't have to be a programmer, but you must have a patient phone manner and reasonable English.

Graphic Artist
Burma Gateway needs a graphic artist familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash to create event banners and banner ads for our sponsors and members. It is part-time as the need arises and can be organised by phone and email, so where you live is not important.
